Final pieces for my final major project 'Edgelands'

"A wilderness that is much closer than you think,
A debateable zone,
Neither the city nor countryside but a place in-between,
So familiar it is never seen for looking."

Edgelands Paul Farley and Michael Symmons Roberts

Here's some current work from my final major project which is focusing on the mundane
places that pass by unnoticed, the journey rather than the destination.

These are some pages from a 2 day book project that I done last week at uni that was to use work  from my current project (which is based on Jack the Ripper) and experiment with the combination of text and image and to start to think a lot more about typography, which isn't one of my strengths and is something I need to try and be more experimental with and develop but I enjoyed it, working with such a tight deadline changed the way I usually work and I found it a very useful project finding different ways of working that do and don't work well.

It's been a while, but it's time that I started to update this more often now that i'm in my last year of uni. There's a lot going on at the moment with my minor project that I'm currently working on along with dissertation and competitions, so hopefully there should be a lot more work appearing here soon...
